James McNulty Obituary

James Patrick McNulty, Jr. LUBBOCK-James Patrick McNulty, Jr., age 71, died March 9, 2017, in Lubbock, Texas. Jim was born on Aug. 1, 1945, in Harvey, IL. He was a U.S. Marine and served our country proudly in Vietnam. He spent over 50 years in the automotive industry. He worked in the automotive Leasing industry in the Chicago area and was a past president of Automotive Fleet Leasing Association. Jim moved to Lubbock in 1993. Jim married Billy June Martin-West the love of his life on March 10, 1993. Together they owned and operated Lone Star Auto Auction and other automotive operations in Lubbock. Jim was an avid horseman and a team roper. He loved to travel was a passionate golfer and loved to snow ski. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, BJ. He is survived by his children, Kelly McNulty-Eig and James Patrick McNulty III; grandchildren, Jacob McNulty and Aidan Eig; sisters, Patricia Kiel and Karen Grasch; numerous nieces and nephews and multiple extended family and close friends. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. March 17, 2017, at Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock. Celebration of Life services will be held at Indiana Avenue Baptist Church in Lubbock on March 18, 2017, at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers the family suggests that you make a donation to the charity of your choice in honor of JIM. Online condolences may be offered at www.resthavenfuneralhome.com.
