Phillip Ken Jump -JONES COUNTY - Phillip Ken Jump, 47, of Griswoldville Shortcut, died Thursday, August 13, 2009, at a local hospital. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Saturday at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray. Funeral services will be held at 2P.M., Sunday, August 16, 2009 in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home, with Rev. Morris Wood conducting the services. Burial will follow in McIntyre Baptist Church Cemetery in McIntyre. -Mr. Jump, the son of the late Ken Franklin Jump of Eastman, was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on June 13, 1962, and had lived in Jones County for most of his life. He was a self-employed paint contractor and was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Dublin. -Mr. Jump is survived by his wife, Yvonne Mote Jump of Jones County; son, Chris Jump of Jones County; mother, Joann Willis of McIntyre; sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Joe Mason of Irwinton; brothers and sister-in-law, Mike Jump of McIntyre, Ron and Lucretia Jump and Buddy Jump, all of Dublin; step-sister, Donna Thomas of Cadwell; and by a very loving aunt, Brenda Dupree of Irwinton. -The family may be contacted at the residence at 289 Griswoldville Shortcut in Jones County. -Bridges Funeral Home and Crematory in Gray has charge of arrangements. -Please visit the online memorial at www.bridgesfh.com.
