She was born in Manchester on July 21, 1933, the daughter of William and Ella (Booth) Morgan.
Hazel attended Manchester area schools. She had worked as a certified mental health worker at Augusta Mental Health Institute for over 25 years until her retirement. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and taking trips to the ocean. Hazel was a kind woman with a loving heart who especially enjoyed the company of her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Dupont Sr.; her brothers, Donny, Robert, Everett, Fred, Charles and George Morgan; and two sisters, Rita McKenney and Emma Shea.
She is survived by her sons, John Dupont Jr., and his wife, Phyllis, of Hallowell, Peter Dupont and his wife, Patricia, of Farmingdale, and Robert Dupont of Farmingdale; a daughter, June Dupont, of Augusta; a brother, John Morgan, of Readfield; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
At her request, there will be no visiting or services at this time.
