She was born in Gardiner on July 21, 1925, the daughter of Roy and Mary (Ramsey) Douglass. She was a graduate of Groton High School, class of 1943, in Groton, Mass. After high school, she attended nursing school at the Sisters Hospital in Waterville and became a registered nurse in 1946. She was employed for several years by Thayer hospital, where she was a supervisor of the nursery. In later years, she was employed by Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home until her retirement.
Geraldine loved gardening and going to yard sales. She made dried-flower baskets that she sold in various gift shops. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by her friends and neighbors at Sandy Stream.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Norman B. Graham; brothers Wilbur and Sherman Douglass; and sister Shirley Gordon.
Geraldine is survived by her sons, David Graha and wife Linda of Sidney, and James A. Graham of Merritt Island, Fla.; grandsons Scott Graham and wife Beth of Nova Scotia, and James D. Graham, stationed with the Air Force in Tacoma, Wash.; a great-grandson, Jack Graham, of Nova Scotia; a brother, Edgar Douglass and wife Bernadette of Boise, Idaho; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, at 11 a.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterville with Pastor Bill Lawrence officiating.

I was sorry to hear of your loss of Geraldine. I didn't know her, but I knew Shirley and Wilbur. I also know Roger. I would like for him to contact me if he sees this.
