Brad Perkins, 70
GRAY -- Brad Perkins, 70, passed away on April 20, 2011, peacefully at home. He was born in Gardiner on May 8, 1940, to Elsie and Carroll Perkins. He worked many jobs. He owned his own trading post in Alaska, managed a gas station, and a light trucking business.
Brad enjoyed his life. He loved to travel, camp, and fish. He loved scratching tickets and dreaming big. Brad was a kind man with a big heart who loved his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Brad was predeceased by his parents, Carroll and Elsie Perkins; brothers, Westley, Tim and Gary Perkins, and sisters, Gwen, Gloria and Carolee. He leaves behind his companion of 15 years, Patricia Henry of Gray; sons, Timmy, Roy, David and Harry Perkins of the Biddeford area, and Michael Perkins and Charles Henderson of Gray, his daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Wes Hewey of Gray, daughters, Tami and Roxanne Perkins; and Patricia's kids, Vickie and Ray. He had many grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and friends who will miss him dearly.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, at Wilson Funeral Home, 24 Shaker Rd., Gray.

Brad was a kind and gentle man and a big part of all of our lives. He will be missed greatly. Love and sympathy to all his love ones he left behind. Miss you Brad but know you are in a greater place without pain.

Sending condolences from your family in Mississippi (Brad's brother Tim's family). I don't think we ever met Uncle Brad, but from the sound of it, he was a good man who lived a full life.
