Donald Lewis Obituary
LITCHFIELD -- Donald Lewis, 74, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2011.
Don was born in Bath on March 13, 1937. He graduated from Morse High School and worked at Bath Iron Works for 45 years. Don was a dedicated musician who played in many local bands. His passion for music began at an early age and he especially enjoyed sharing his gift with young people.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 50 years, Vivian Lewis of Litchfield; three children, Donna Marcinuk and husband Peter of Raymond, Linda Heisler and husband Mark of Portland, and Eric Lewis of Litchfield; three grandchildren, Jared Marcinuk of Gilead, Nathan Marcinuk of Raymond, and Brianna Heisler of Portland; mother, Harriett Lewis of Bath; sister, Kathleen Inman and husband Joseph of Bath; sister-in-law, Priscilla Davis of Waterville; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Orrington Lewis; and sister, Dianne Cahill, both of Bath.
At Don's request, there will be no services and burial will be private. Condolences may be sent to the family at the funeral homes web site www.staplesfuneralhome.com.
