Valgene Gullett

WILLARD: Valgene Gullett, age 84, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016.

He was born on March 25, 1931 in Holiday, Kentucky to the late Bill and Myrtle (Thomas) Gullett. Valgene served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired from General Motors in Ontario after 30 years of service. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Sharon (Lewis) Gullett; two sons, James (Patty) Gullett and Jeff Gullett; two daughters, Valerie Gullett and Kathy (Dennis) Pence; daughter-in-law, Anna Gullett; six grandchildren, Adam, Ashley, Amber (Eric) Horsely, Liana (Tyler) Shepherd, Dennis Jr. and Connor; one great granddaughter Cambria; and brother Nolan Gullett.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Lee (Pugh) Gullett; wo sons, Roger and Kenny; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at the Willard Funeral Home on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 2:00 until 6:00 PM where a funeral service will be on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ricky Branham officiating.
