Roberta H. Locati It is with great sadness, and yet, a sense of relief, that we announce the death of Roberta H. Locati, a long time resident of Tiburon, on June 20, 2012, after suffering the devastating effects of Alzheimer's Disease. Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, Charlie, daughters Linda and Denise, son-in-laws, Frank and Harvey, and her adored grandson Hunter, as well as many wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins. Roberta will always be remembered for her love of travel. She was a longtime manager for Talbot of Tiburon, who took great care in arranging memorable trips and adventures for appreciative clientele and friends. Roberta loved to plan family vacations, especially when a special occasion called for a little extra flair. Roberta and Charlie, flew many a mile, and sailed many an ocean, exploring the great attractions of the world, and making many lasting friendships along the way. Roberta will be remembered most for her love of family and friends, joy of entertaining including her fondness for great music and dancing, laughter and always, her impeccable dress. Her family, friends and others who have come to know and love Roberta are happy that she is finally at peace, and her long struggle with this disease is now over. She will be terribly missed by many. A private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer that those wishing to do so, make a donation to Hospice by the Bay or The Marin Humane Society.
