Machelle Snyder Obituary
Machelle A. Snyder, 52 years, of Upper Macungie Twp., passed away December 18, 2010 at home. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Joan L. (Epting) Fister of Upper Macungie Twp. and the late Marshall Snyder and the step daughter of the late Dr. Frederick Fister. She was an antique refinisher, a country artist, and a restorer of American history. Machelles specialty was restoring Grandfather clocks. She was a graduate of Parkland High School and Lehigh County Vo-Tech. Her love of animals showed in her dedication to helping many animal shelters around the Lehigh Valley. Survivors: Mother; brothers, Aaron Snyder of Upper Macungie Twp. and Brion Snyder and wife Teri of Triangle, VA; step-sisters, Judith A. Johnson and Diane J. Jordan; uncles, Michael Epting and wife Arlene of CA and Donald Epting and wife Mary of Walnutport. Services: Memorial will be announced at a later date by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville. I met Machelle in lehigh hospital,we were patience and roomates,we exchanged life stories for 7 nights.I was blown away by her internal and external beauty,what a stunning woman in every way.I am praying for the family for this huge loss.

I sit here with my heart in my hand and tears in my eyes. I grew up with Machelle (I lived at the Gun Club) Sat next to her almost every day on the bus. Joan and family, I grieve tremendously with you in your loss. Machelle is a special part of my life and a beautiful friend and step cousin. So glad we reunited the last few years and got to share our hearts. She deserved better than to leave this way and so soon but I know she loved the Lord and is now at peace. She will always be in my heart.
My husband Chet and I loved her dearly and were so proud of her talents. Although the pain is unbearable for us and we will miss her dearly she is in a better place now and is walking with Jesus. The Lord has taken her home and given her rest and now she will bring those together that loved her. Let us celebrate her life, I know she would want that.

To the Family & all that knew Machelle,
When we arrived at our new home on Haasadahl Rd. Mrs. Fister & Machelle were the first to befriend us. Two of the most caring people one could ever meet. As she welcomed us to the area, so must we accept her welcome into heaven. We have lost the physical being of Machelle, but never will we lose Machelle.We may no longer be able to touch her, but the Lord now has made it possible for her to always be able to touch each & every one of us.Mrs. Fister, we are approaching the birthday of our Lord, you have given to him the most beautiful gift to heaven.

I am so saddened by the loss of Machelle. She was my best friend in 5th grade at Lincoln Elementary in Catty. I was sad when she moved to another school. I remember visiting your farm but being so young wasnt sure where it was. I had been thinking of her over the years and wondering how she was and where she was.
