Antoinette Pavlinsky, 86, of Bethlehem, PA passed away on January 3, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Joseph C. Pavlinsky. Born in Nazareth, Antoinette was the daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth (Lakawski) Pierzga. Antoinette worked as a collar setter part time while raising 5 children. Antoinette's greatest source of pride was her children and grandchildren. Her hobbies included baking, Word Finds, pencil coloring and game shows. Survivors: children: Deborah Mankos, wife of Ronald Mankos of Allentown, Joseph Pavlinsky of Simi Valley, CA, Robert Pavlinsky and wife Nadda of Bath and Barbara Pavlinsky of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Andrew Mankos and wife Victoria, Laura, Mankos, Steven Mankos and Daniel Mankos, Sean Nehmeh, Tyler Pavlinsky and Jasmine Pavlinsky; great grandchildren, Jessica Mankos and Mackenzie Mankos; brothers, Michael Pierzga, Andrew Pierzga and John Pierzga; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, James Pavlinsky and sisters, Anna Dulac, Caroline Tanhauser, Elizabeth "Betty" Sochanski, Rose Pierzga and Mary Ann Pierzga. Services: A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, from 6 - 7:30 PM at the Downing Funeral Home, Inc, 1002 West Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 and on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, from 9:30 - 10:30, in the Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 at Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 730 West Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Luke's Hospital, C/O Nursing Education, Fountain Hill Campus, 801 Ostrum Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015 or to Saints Simon and Jude Church.

Dear Barb, Bob, Joe, and Debbie, My deepest condolences of the passing of your mother. She was such a wonderful lady, devout Catholic, and beautiful in and out. She was highly regarded as a good neighbor on Kenmore Avenue. I was just talking about how our mothers switched up babysitting every New Years Eve when we were children so the opposite couple could go out for a night. She watched over all of us kids as we played Wizard of Oz, and games in your driveway and on your patio like the angel she now is. Please, feel free to contact me if any of you need anything. Aunt Toni was a loving woman who had such a spark about her...and nobody could make creme de menthe brownies and cole slaw quite like her!

I am sure that Uncle Joe and my Grammy, Caroline, were right there to welcome her home. My prayers and love go out to the Pavlinsky and Pierzga Families.
