For Jean's family...
I just heard of Jean's passing, I haven't seen her in many years, but I was always very fond of this sweet lady. Jean and my mother, Arlene Abraham Assad were 1st cousins.
Please accept my most sincere condolences, May she rest in peace and her memory be eternal.

Nanci Anne, Sandi & Frankie: Sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. We haven't crossed paths much in the last 50 years but I still remember visiting with your family on 2nd St and the cabin that your father had. My mother had spoken with Jeanne a few times over the years at the Farmers Market. My father passed in 2002; its hard to lose precious parents.

To the DiLeo Gang, My mom is in heaven doing the jig because her old friend has finally come home! Tony and family, I'm sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I will never forget the first time I met her was when I was on duty and the beautiful conversation we had. She was a very polite, generous, and a beautiful woman. May the Lord provide you with strength, comfort, and peace during this time and always.

It's difficult to see of Jean's passing because she was so much a part of our lives as we grew up, and we know that eventually she'd leave us as so many others have, but her leaving us is not an easy time. Jean's left an indelible mark on all the lives she's touched, and we're all grateful to have known her. She always reminded me that I was her 'cousin' and the Dileo's door was always open to us all. She and Frank Sr were a centerpiece in the neighborhood and their absence was notable. I pray for your rapid healing from her loss, and that your warm memories and the balm of the Holy Spirit are with you all as you grieve. God bless you all.
