IGNACIO COUSILLAS Obituary
Ignacio Galvan Cousillas was born on October 7, 1932 in Nogales, Arizona to the late Felix R. and Cipriana (Galvan) Alvarez. He passed away on October 25, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Merced, California at the age of 78. Ignacio worked as a Manufacturing Supervisor for 15 years and has lived in the County of Merced for 50 years.
Ignacio now joins his beloved parents; Felix R. Alvarez and Cipriana Galvan, sisters; Pina Zuniga and Cono Navarro and son Jose Mendoza.
Ignacio is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Maria Elena Cousillas, his son Hector Mendoza (Michelle), his daughters Martha Mosqueda (Bruce), Maria Soto (Jose), brothers; Felix Galvan, Joey and Roy Alvarez his grandchildren Jose, Brandon, and Tyler Soto, Tamara Mendoza and Evita Mosqueda-Chapman and his great-grandchildren Christopher, Melina and Addyson Soto, and Jonathan Osborne.
A public visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 p.m. and Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2010 in the Chapel of Ivers & Alcorn Funeral Home in Merced. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, October 29, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Merced.
