RITA ANN GULNAC

May 20, 1953 - November 2, 2010

Rita Ann Gulnac was born May 20, 1953. She passed away November 2, 2010 at age 57. She enjoyed several leisure activities not limited to crocheting, cake making and shopping. You could often often find her spending time with the grandchildren she deeply loved. She thrived on planning get togethers, birthday parties, or just a simple game night to celebrate life. Rita was a devoted Christian. She taught Sunday School for ten years and sang in the church choir. In addition she was an amazing fellowship director for numerous years. During quiet times you could find her praying or simply reading from her Bible.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years Bob Gulnac, her mom Juanita Loewen and one brother Benny Joe Loewen. She is survived by her dad Bill Loewen of Winton, three daughters Dannette Richards and Heather Dickison both of Merced and Sarah Duarte of Winton. She has five grandchildren Tyler age 11, Aaron age 8, Adam age 7, Serenah age 5 and Michael age 2. She is also survived by a brother Danny Loewen of Ceres and a sister Joyce Loewen of Morgan Hill. Rita leaves behind many family and friends who are deeply saddened by her death. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitations will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Whitton Family Funeral Service, 740 W. 19th St., Merced, California. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 12, 2010 at 11:00 am at First Southern Baptist Church, 7264 W. Myrtle Ave., Winton, California. Burial will follow at Winton Cemetery.
