In honor of Greg Campi, I would like you to hold this thought with me:
“From this day, forward when you look up; and fantastic cloud formations pass you by.
Just think of Greg with an endless pallet, blissfully painting surreal pictures in the sky.”

I feel blessed to have shared nearly forty years of friendship with Greg. Wondrous adventures, hours of conversation, laughter, phone calls, close calls and of course “Last Calls“…the experience of helping him paint a mural on the back of my Mother’s Motel in Kernville, a week I will never forget.
“God Bless the Man, the Artist, and the Beautiful Creative Soul who has left his mark on the many hearts of those who loved him and on many walls where he has lived and dreamed and slept. Leaving us the canvasses he painted, so that his unique visual self expression and lasting memories are kept.” Greg “I will truly miss you“…
My heart goes out to those that Greg loved so much, his beautiful children, and his grandchildren he always spoke of proudly with joy in his voice and love in his heart, and his loving and loyal Sister Cyndie, whom he endearingly expressed to be “his major lifeline to the outside world” when we last spoke.

I had the opportunty to have several visits with Greg in the hospital. We reminisced about old times and he would show me the pictures of his kids and grandchildren (which he was very proud of). I enjoyed his art work, what a talented man. His love for the Lord was strong and he knew where he was going. He would often pray for his family to know the Lord and keep then close at heart. We prayed often. Greg will truly be missed.

To Greg's Family,
I was saddened to read of Greg's passing. Greg was such a talented artist and a one of a kind person. Although I have not seen him in many, many years I will always remember Greg as a stand up kind of fellow, old soul and great hugger. May he rest in peace and may you find comfort in your sweet memories of him.

It saddens me to see your obit; we used to say we had to check the obits everyday just to make sure our name wasn't there...I miss you so much; love from your ever faithful sis, Cyndie
