Nancy S. Glover
Resident of San Jose
Born in Bradford, Pennsylvania on June 5, 1938, entered into rest San Jose, California on October 14, 2010, surrounded by her family. Daughter of the late Robert and Irene McCracken. Married to William J. Glover on April 27, 1956 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Bradford, Pennsylvania by Monsignor Carlton G. Ritchie.
She is survived by her loving husband William Glover, children Kathy Hoffman (Peter), Patrick Glover (Melanie), Mary Webb, Michael Glover (Dena), Debbie King (Greg), James Glover, and the late William D. Glover and her son-in-law the late David Webb. Cherished grandmother of Robert Glover, Justin Hoffman, Megan Fetzer, Jenel Glover, Tiffany Webb, Jennifer Webb, Odessa Frey, Michael Glover Jr., Holly King and Joel King. Dear sister of Dale McCracken, Sally DeMellier, Judy Marshall, and the late Jim McCracken.
She loved baseball, was a longtime fan of 'the tribe', and later became a huge fan of the San Francisco Giants. She was first lady of the 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus, supporting her husband, following William to many conventions, installations and dinners.
Nancy was a very kind and caring Lady, loved by many and will be missed by all!
Vigil Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Lima Family Erickson Funeral Home, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, CA 95125 and Funeral Mass 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 366 St. Julie Drive, San Jose, CA 95119. Communal will follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Los Altos, CA, followed by a reception at St. Julies at 1:00 p.m. Donations can be made to St. Julies Building Fund or Sacred Heart Community Services in her memory.

I am so saddened to learn of Nancy's passing. I worked with her for a few years at Sears Service Center when she was in the MA department. She always had a sense of humor and kindly responses.

Pam and I join the entire Glover family in prayer for the repose of Nancy's soul. She was a dear friend at home, at Knights of Columbus events all over the state, and whenever we came into her presence. Her battle is over, peace abounds around her, and we miss her terribly.

Grandma we love you and miss you. You were an insperation to us all and your example shall live on. As you race to the stars on the way home to your heavenly father, we shall mourn and celebrate your life. I remember as achild you were always there when we needed you most, and for that you have a place in the hearts of all those you touched. if there was one last thing i could say it would have to be " I Love You Always".

We'll never stop thinking about you grandma. You will be missed by all of us. You did so much for our family. You will always have a place in my heart. I will so very much miss talking baseball with you, I know that subject made you so happy. I'm so glad I got to have one last baseball conversation with you on the 10th before everything happened.
