Leonard Brandi

Resident of Kensington

July 15, 1915-Sept. 30, 2010

He is survived by his beloved wife Lucretia of 64 years, daughters Linda Delehunt and Janet Dobbs, three granddaughters, two sisters, and several cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Born in Italy , Leonard was an educator, an expert in communications and served in the Army during World War II. He graduated from San Jose State University in Electronics and devoted his life to teaching inner city high school students in Oakland. He was a radio amateur operator, W6LWX, since his early years.

Visitation will be at 12:30, followed by services at 1:30, at Lima Family Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara, on Wednesday, October 6.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphona Society, 221 Main Street, Suite 1650, San Francisco 94105 .

To the Brandi family, sorry for your loss, may GOD give you his LOVE, PEACE, and STRENGTH in this time of sorrow. I want to thank him for serving his country to keep us SAFE and FREE, i am glad he made it home to start a family of his own. He is a hero may he R.I.P <3
