We still think of Jim from time to time. Enjoyed working with Jim and especially getting together with him and his wife socially.

I'm sorry to hear about Jim's passing - I was just thinking of him today and did a search on his name when I found his obituary. Jim recruited me out of Minnesota to join Apple as an internal auditor in August 1994, and after I accepted the position, Jim and Kathleen had me over to their house for dinner. My condolences to the Silver family on Jim's passing.
Sincerely,

Dear Kathy and Family
It's been a long time - we've talked about getting ahold of the two of you but put it off too long. We received the notice of Jim's passing from Pat (Hilo High). Our friendship goes back so long ago in Hawaii. I have so many memories - the days in the cane fields and riding down the flumes on top of the bundles of cane, playing baseball at the Plantation Park, the boxing matches on the front porch - too many to list. Our memories of growing up together will always be a part of me and who I am. Jim was a true buddy and will be missed.
With deepest sympathy,
Larry and Shirley Gillespie

Dear Kathy and family, Your loss is great - loved ones leave too soon. I am sorry not to have known Jim - I would have liked him I know. How lucky you are to have had 50 wonderful years. May peace and calm enter your lives. Ann Dalziel Hobson, Mt.Zion classmate

Dear Cathy,
Rose Marie and I offer our deepest sympathies at the loss of you husband Jim. As you know, we were missing you and Jim at our getogethers after he became too ill to come. And now we will miss him even more so. Jim was a very happy, concerned, and giving person and we know his helpfulness will be missed by many. God bless you.
Love,
Ed and Rose Marie
