(Antonia) Bet

Resident of San Mateo

Entered into rest on October 2, 2010, she was born on June 4, 1925 in Conegliano, Italy. Antonietta was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Marco Bet; loving mother of Claudio Bet, M.D., (Diane), Paul Bet (Arleen) and Paula Kein (Karl); loving Nonna to Anthony, Andrew, Alex, Christopher, Eric Bet and Stephanie, Timothy Kein. Loving sister to Victor Peccolo (Mary) and Benevenuta Perencin; loving Aunt to Elizabeth Barthe, Albert Perencin, Carla Woodworth and Robert Peccolo. Antonietta is also survived by family members, nieces and nephews in Italy. How fortunate we are to have known and loved her and be blessed with special memories she gave us.

She was a native of Italy and immigrated to the United States from Argentina in 1960 where she and her family made their home in San Mateo. Antonietta was a seamstress and worked for many years for Schneiders Clothing Store. She was a member of the Peninsula Social Club and the Italian American Catholic Federation. She enjoyed spending time. with her family and traveling to Italy, Argentina and Donner Lake.

Friends may attend a Vigil with Rosary Service, 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 7th at Sneider & Sullivan & O'Connell's Funeral Home, 977 S. EI Camino Real, San Mateo, CA. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on October 8, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 1 Notre Dame Avenue, San Mateo, CA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Antonietta's name to American Heart Association, Parkinson Society or a charity of your choice. Sneider & Sullivan & O'Connell's Funeral Home (650) 343-1804.
