Albert Newell Obituary

Albert Newell, 93, of Newton, died on Thursday after a long illness. He leaves his wife Roberta (Feldman) Newell; a son, Howard Newell and his wife Sandra; two daughters, Susan Newell and Nancy, wife of Lester Jansen; a stepson, David Feldman and his wife Judy; a stepdaughter, Debra Feldman; and his grandchildren, Deborah wife of Steven Pierce, Nicole, wife of Ira Wenzel, IsaMI Ching and his wife Charlene, China Ching and Elizabeth Jansen. He was predeceased by his sister, Florence Solomont, his stepdaughter, Patrice Scheffler and his grandson, David Jansen. He leaves six great grandchildren. He was born in Boston and was a son of Charles I. and Edith (Hurwitz) Newell and he was a certified public accountant and a tax attorney. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:45 PM on Sunday, January 12th in Sharon Memorial Park in Sharon, MA. Memorial Observance will be announced at the time of his funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to Fanconi Anemia Research Fund, 1801 Willamette St., Suite 200, Eugene Oregon 97401 or to Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472. brezniakrodman.com.
