John Lupien Obituary

John F. Lupien, Jr., 58, passed away while on a business trip in Yakima, Washington for the Natick Army Labs. He was born in Natick on February 13, 1957 the son of Dorothy M. (Dupree) Lupien of Natick and the late John F. Lupien, Sr who died in 2012. Besides his mother, John is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Martha J. (Szpila) Lupien of Holliston. Father of Justin Lupien and his wife Jody of Salem; Jessica Reece and her husband Josh of Millis and Kyle Lupien of Salem. Brother of Linda Mongiat and her husband Michael of Upton and Laurie Freitas and her husband Larry of Blackstone. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John spent his formative years in Natick and has resided in Holliston for over 33 years. He graduated from Rivers Country Day School in Weston and attended Framingham State College. For over 33 years he has been an Equipment Specialist for the Department of the Army with Natick Labs. John was an avid golfer, enjoyed cooking for family and friends and was a member of the Natick Elks. John was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Martha and cherished the time spent with his children and his many friends. Visitations will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am at the funeral home on Saturday, October 24, 2015. Interment will follow in the Lupien family lot in Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland. In lieu of flowers, his family kindly suggests that memorial gifts in Johns memory be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
