JOHN G. SILVA SEP 8, 1923 - OCT 26, 2010 Age 87, passed away in Crows Landing. He was born in Feteira, Terceira, Azores. He was a farmer for 25 years and a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church of Turlock and Our Lady of Fatima of Turlock. Survivors- Sons - Four - John Silva and his wife Mary of Denair, Emanuel Silva and his wife Mary of Turlock, Frank Silva and his wife Luisa of Denair and David Silva and his wife Nelia of Turlock, Daughters - Durvalina Faria and her husband Joe of Turlock, Erma Mendonca and her husband Frank of Crows Landing, Sister - Mary Couto of Willows, Sister-in-laws Vivelina Silva of Denair and Fatima Silva of Tracy, 14-Grandchildren and 5-Great-Grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife- Rosa Silva - Sept. 27, 1993, Brothers - Manuel C. Silva - 1999, Francisco G. Silva - 1999 and Antonio G. Silva - 2003. Visitation - 4PM-8PM, October 28, 2010 and 10AM-5PM, October 29, 2010 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, Rosary - 7:30PM, October 29, 2010 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Mass - 11AM, October 30, 2010 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church.
