As a child growing up on the banks of the Tuolumne River, you can only imagine how our families and townspeople shaped our lives. Helen Welch was one that showed us we were all part of something sweet and timeless and gave us meaning and significance. She always made us kids feel special and was always interested in what we were doing. Whenever we traveled, she made sure we went off with a good breakfast and made the journey enjoyable. Oh, those summers in the mountains!
We'll all miss that ever ready smile, that twinkle in her eye, but know that she enjoyed a long life that enriched the lives of all that knew her.
I don't know what Heaven looks like, but I'm sure Helen does!
My wish to the family is that soon you will find peace in your heart that will settle your soul.

Helen was a most amazing woman. She was a very special person and will be missed but now has joined Bill in heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with Marilyn, Bill, Brandon, Shay and Shellie and the many people whose life Helen touched. Love, Dave and Denise Johnson

Helen was certainly blessed with a long life. May God be with your entire family at this time and always.
