Evelyn and Maxine
I neglected in my previous message to commend you both on being there for Uncle Jimmy in his final hour. Evelyn, you were my second Mother (like I really needed MORE parents..*smile*) and I remember how close you and Uncle Jimmy were. I know, you of all people on this planet would see and insure that whatever Uncle Jimmy wanted in his final days, Uncle Jimmy got. Maxine, all my younger life, I was compared to you. I was either mistaken for you or everyone thought I was your daughter. I was always and I mean always being told that I had to be related to "Maxine". I don't recall meeting you, however, I do feel I know you personally. Like I stated in my prior message, I was part of the family and although I might not have met everyone personally, I knew about everyone either through Bird, Shelly or My "other" parents Evelyn and JB.
I send you both my heartfelt condolences. Find comfort in knowing you did for your brother exactly what he wanted. Also find peace in the fact that you were there to walk him to the light. There is no better feeling on Gods planet than to lead and guide your love one there. He's at peace now and you should be also. Not everyone has that beautiful and blessed experience. Find comfort in the fact that you were there for your brother when he needed you most.
I send my strength and love to both of you and I'll leave you with the same words that my Mother, Ann J. Taylor gave me. Words that have helped make me the woman I am today. Those words are:
Let GO and Let GOD!!
Again, Uncle Jimmy, you've earned your rest babe. Rest in sweet, eternal peace.
All my Love.

Bird (Rochelle) was one of my best friends growing up. My Mother and Father were her Mother and Father and her Mother and Father (JB & Eveyln) were my Mother and Father. We were a part of each others families, which makes Uncle Jimmy my uncle from the other side. :)
I have fond and hysterical memories of Uncle Jimmy threatening/disciplining us (and that's meant to be both sarcastic and funny) when we were younger.
I wish to extend my love, sincere and deepest sympathy to all of Uncle Jimmys family. Say hello to Damian, Mom and Dad for me. Uncle Jimmy, you have truly earned your rest. May you now sleep in sweet, eternal peace.

Jim, your passing is bitter and sweet - sweet because you are no longer in pain and have gone on to glory, and bitter because the reality of each day is that your presence is no longer tangible.... Thank you for the wonderful memories, and for the sacrifices made. You will be missed. With love,
