Marissa Alexandria McLeod obituary

Marissa McLeod Memoriam

MARISSA ALEXANDRIA MCLEOD MAY 21, 1992 - DEC 1, 2009 Baby Girl, it has been a year since I have seen you. I still have not accepted that you are gone. I try to tell myself that you are in an amazing place and you are at peace. It doesn't make the pain in my heart hurt any less. I miss your bright smile, outgoing personality, passion for learning, desire to help others, but most of all I just miss you! I miss talking to you and listening to your long lectures (stories). I miss us taking a day off and just watching Gilmore Girls or Law & Order all day and ordering Chinese food I am very proud and grate- ful that I was given the opportunity to be your mother. You are my greatest accomplishment in life. I will always cherish the time I had with you, and I will always wish I had more. I hope you know how many lives you have changed and how many lives that you are still changing. The project that you started because of your compassion to help others has taken a life of its own. We named your project Marissa's Closet. I promise you that I will carry on what you started. Everyday someone new learns how wonderful and amazing you were. Marissa you are the most incredible person I will ever know. My heart is empty without you and it will be until the day we are together again. Every day I have to remind myself to get out of bed, so I can make sure your legacy lives on. I miss you more than words could ever say! I love you with all my heart.Love Always & Forever Mom, Chad, Family & Friends www.modbee.com/obituaries
