I also was a co-worker with Scott at Longs. He was definitely a fun loving person. And, he could also be a very caring friend. He was there when you needed to vent or seek advice. Lorna, Melissa, and to the rest of Scott's Family and friends, my deepest condolences.

Lefty, Lorna, Melissa, Cameron and Emma,
We are so terribly sorry for your loss. Scott was so fortunate in his life to have so much love from family and friends. Today his spirit soars, no longer in pain but truly free - consumed with love and happiness as he looks down from heaven. It seems God has other plans for Scott now. Stay strong for one another. We love you all.

I also knew Scott through Longs. He was one of my managers at #252. It seems that we all reflect to his humor, smile and blue eyes. It was always a pleasure to go to work when I knew Kearby was working. May he rest in peace and may his family find comfort and peace!

I had the pleasure to know Scott when he was friends with my sister and I also worked with Scott at Long's Drugs. He was one of the funniest people I had ever met, always making people laugh with his witty sense of humor!! A couple memories that stick out most are him coming to pick my sister and her friends up for school in his Impala when I was just a kid (I believe with Garfield hanging from a noose from his rear view mirror....LOL) and when he lived with Don Caldwell and we all would play POP up Nerf Basketball in thier living room for hours.....boys will be boys! :) My families thoughts and prayers are with his closest friends and his Family most of all during this sad time. R.I.P. Scott Kearby!

I knew Scott through Longs Drugs where he worked with my ex-wife. he was funny and sincere and always happy to see you and say hello. He was good father and a hard worker. We later worked together at Kelly-Moore Paints. I remember how he loved Jimmy Buffett and his great sense of humor. I know he is in a better place now. God speed Scott.

Scott Brian Kearby was one of my best friends forever; a true BFF. We shared 30 years of unconditional friendship. You are greatly missed by all those you have touched with your unconditional friendship, quick witted sense of humor, your fabulous smile, your great laughter, and your ability to charm those who came into your life with your big blue eyes. I will always have glorious memories of our friendship and I will always love you and your family?
