Janet Bracken Obituary

ASHLAND – Janet M. Bracken, 64, of Ashland, died Sunday, October 16, 2011 at her residence. She was born November 25, 1946 in Oberlin to the late Richard and Josephine (Stocking) Anderson. She graduated from New London High School in 1964. Janet worked as a dental assistant in New London for Dr. Pasek and Hale and the billing department at Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Ashland up until four years ago.
Janet enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother.
Survived by her son, Bret (Nancy) Cooke of New Philadelphia; daughters, Kim (Steve) Oeken of Ashland and Shannon (Jamie) Cutcher of Vermilion; grandchildren, Makenna Cooke, Brianna Oeken, Lanndrie Cooke and Maxim Oeken; nieces, Lauren Anderson and Hilary Anderson and brother, Rodney (Janet) Anderson of New London.
Janet was preceded in death by her grandchild, Rilynn Grace Cooke and nephews, Wesley Anderson and Shane Anderson.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, October 21st at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Grove Street Cemetery, New London.
