Irene was an amazing person with a heart of gold. I met her 14 years ago when I began to babysit Sean and Jamie, her pride and joy.

Irene was one of the most vibrant and lively people in the world and would've done ANYTHING for her children, Jim and her friends. During Girl's Weekend, she would always update me about her family with stories. She always talked about riding the Harley with Jim and Jamie's progress with soccer and college. She also bragged about Sean and what a handsome man he had become. She called him a "heartbreaker".

Her heart, charisma and overwhelming love of life will truly be missed. She was a dear friend to us all.

I met Irene in Midland at a girls weekend. She was a friend and such a good example for me. She always wore a smile and enjoyed every minute of her life. Her family was number one and words cannot express the way she loved all of her family. I also had the privilege of meeting Jamie and spending girls weekend with her too. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I will miss Irene, but will never forget her.

I met Irene over twenty years ago through her sister, Carmen. Irene was a delight to be around. She played softball on my team when we needed a player. What an athlete and a wonderful "team" player. When I moved to Midland five years ago, Irene was right there just in case I needed anything. Irene told her friends about me and pretty soon I had a lot of her friends' requesting their child to be in my class. My first year was "AWESOME" Thanks Irene. You will be missed by all who knew you.

My deepest sympathy to the Prementine and Luna family

"Say not in grief she is no more, but live in thankfulness for that she was."

Irene always gave more than she ever received. Her love of life, family and steadfast friendship and also her beautiful smile will forever be remembered. I pray for her family who mourn, that they cast all of their cares on Thee and they may know the consolation of Thy love, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

I grew up with Irene in McCamey, even though I hadn't seen her since I moved in the early 70's we always remained friends. Irene was a wonderful person, and one that I am proud to have known and consider a true friend. Irene, you are truly missed, but have no doubt that you are in wonderful place.

My Deepest Sympathy to Jim, Jamie & Sean and the rest of your family especially your parents.

I had the pleasure of meeting Irene at girls weekend in Horshoe Bay at Sarah's. Irene was such an amazing person. Always so sweet and sincere. She was a devoted mother and wife. I hate when a tragedy like this happens so suddenly. I am so sorry to the family and friends who cared about her and was lucky to know her. Her memory will live on.

Irene:

I know you're in heaven now ... smiling down on your family and friends. You ALWAYS had a smile for me and your other "gal pals" at Sara's week-ends, Irene. And, the deep, sincere love you had for your family was CLEARLY evident whenever you spoke about them -- the biggest smile and twinkle in your eye would appear on your face. I pray that God hold your family close during this time. I know we ALL miss you mucho, Irene. Fly high with the angels, Best Girlfriend. Mo

I just want to express my sympathy to the family and to also let Jim know that my family is continuing to pray for you and your kids in the days to come.

Irene was fun to work with and even when you knew she was having a bad day, she still had a smile on her face. In the mid 90's, my office was right next to Sara Hall's and Irene's office. Sometimes I felt like I was right in the middle of a laughing factory. It always made the days go faster with those two sharing their joy. Irene will be greatly missed.

Irene was the most spirited, fun-loving person I've ever met and she was my best friend. Irene and I met back in the 70's when we both worked for SIC Finance. We became running buddies and then roommates. We were almost inseparable and did everything together. Irene loved to dance, loved sports and loved spending time with family and friends. There was never a dull minute, even when on that rare occasion we stayed at home! And then the love of Irene's life walked in to the Gulf office. I knew then Irene had met her new best friend! Irene loved Jim with all her heart and even overlooked the fact that he couldn't dance! Irene's family was her life and she was so proud of them.

I will miss Irene - her e-mails, her stories of her family, but mostly her warm smile. I will cherish the memories I have of her, and she will forever remain in my heart.

I met Irene in Midland through Sara Hall, she was a joy to be around. She and I made several trips to Horseshoe Bay for our girl's weekend events. Irene became a dear friend and she will be greatly missed. Irene always made a postive impact on those around her.

Irene loved her family so deeply, and though she smiled all the time, when she began talking about her family the smile became even bigger and brighter, as I know Heaven is now that she is there.

Irene, you will be missed but I know you will always be with us in spirit.

Irene was a fresh breathe to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her; I was privileged for 15 years knowing her via work, coed softball, our kids soccer, etc. She is certainly with God now and bringing smiles to other angels. We miss you Smiley but will continue to smile as we think of you. Our condolences to Jim, Jamie & Sean.

Irene and I met back in the early 90's at Chevron. We developed a close friendship and I am deeply saddened by her passing. Irene was always cheerful, always the first one to step up and help out in any situation. We shared many laughs at the office, on the ball field, and whenever we were together.

Her family meant the world to her. She took care of everything and everyone. She will truly be missed on this earth.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Continue with her infectious smiles, know she is always with you. May God continue to bless and comfort you all.

There arn't enough words to describe what a special friend Irene was to me and to all who knew her.

I met her 14 yrs. ago at Chevron in Midland. After I retired & moved, we remained special friends. Irene was part of our girls weekends in Horseshoe Bay and I could always count on her to bring anything we needed, especially her infamous hot sauce.

Her smile was infectious, her generosity was boundless and her ability to organize was amazing.

My love and prayers are with my friend Jim, our sweet Jamie & Sean, for always. The love she had for her family was a shining example for all of us.

Irene Prementine will forever be in my heart and I will always love her.

I met Irene at our Girls Weekend. She always made time to visit with everyone and make you feel loved. She made friends every where she went. We shopped together and had so much fun. I will miss her so much but know she is making everyone smile around her still in her new home. She loved her family so much. Please know you are special.

My deepest sympathy to the Premetine family. Many prayers are with you. I met Irene several years ago when working with Chevron and her smile was followed with joy everywhere she went. She welcomed strangers and made them feel like family instantly. With Irene there were no goodbyes it was always see you around and when you did you just picked up where you left off no matter how much time had passed. Irene will be greatly missed by all---she was a precious angel here on earth and even more precious in heaven.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Irene. She is a treasure who we will miss. I first met Irene when I hired on to Chevron, and she and her family became good friends to mine. She was never without a nickname for me, and she always made softball a fun event. She was forever giving me grief about my "single life" and was enjoying watching my life grow into a "family life." I'm VERY thankful to know Irene, Jim, Jamie, & Sean. She and her family have truly been a blessing to my family. We will miss you Irene.

I am very sadden by this news. I met Irene back in 1989 when I moved to Hobbs, NM. Irene and I always joked about us being cousins as we both were Lunas. Irene was a good person, deligent worker and a good friend to me and my family. She was always smiling and had an upbeat personality. She will be missed but her spirit and the wonderful memories of her will never be forgotten. My prayers to her family members.

I know through recent tragedy in my own life, that now is a difficult time for the Prementine family. My wife and I will pray that God gives you strength to guide you through this tough time in your life. I worked with Irene in Midland and she was just wonderful. She made us all feel welcome in her group (and it was her group, not the boss's). Whenever any of us left to take another job, she made up a plaque or poster; she carried it around to everyone by hand and had them sign it. Each person who left that group had something special to remember their time in Midland because of Irene. She made me feel more like I was part of her family than part of the job at Chevron.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Irene's family for their loss. I worked with Irene at Chevron in Midland several years ago. She always had a smile on her face and so much energy. She was great to work with and to have fun with too. She organized our Friday group lunches and gave the best parties. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

My deepest sympathy to the Prementine Family. Irene was indeed a special person that always had a smile on her face. I enjoyed the many conversations I had with her (she made me laugh) even though we did not work in the same department at Gulf/Chevron. She called me "chamaco" which means "boy" in spanish. She always talked about her husband and children at work. I know she loved them dearly. She showed concern for her friends. Irene made a loving and lasting freindship impression on me. I will miss her in my heart all the way here in Missouri City, Texas. My thoughts and prayers are with the Prementine family.

Irene was such a special friend to many. She was thoughtful of others' needs and just a ray of sunshine that brighted the room when she entered with that infectious smile. She will be missed terribly. Our prayers for God's comfort go out to Jim, Jamie and Sean. She loved you so much.

My thoughts and Prayer go out Jim, Jamie, and Sean

Irene was a good friend and great person to be around. She always made me laugh during softball games, cracking jokes how she was to old to be out here playing softball. After a tough game and getting beat i remember her telling me how the Bad News Bears can play better than us but we were all out there having fun. All in all i can go on and on with many stories of good time we had at the ball park. Irene you'll be missed deeply and will always be in my thougths and prayers.

When me and my husband first moved to Midland, we had the great pleasure of meeting Irene and Jim through working with Chevron. From the beginning Irene was always such a joyful person to be around. She was always so full of life. Over the years we have become good buddies with the family. Robert and her had a thing about her hot sauce that she made. The "hotter the better". Every Xmas we received a batch of it.

We Love You Irene!!!

You'll always be in our hearts!!

Our prayers go out to Jim, Jamie, & Shawn.

Irene was a very SPECIAL person. She never met a stranger and was ALWAYS helping people out no matter what it was. I don't ever remember seeing Irene without a smile on her face. She was always in a good mood and upbeat. I will miss her very, very much!

Several years ago, I had the pleasure of working with and playing softball with Irene. Irene would sometimes call me by a nickname - "Smiley". What she might not have realized was that many of those smiles were prompted simply by being around HER, as her smiles were so contagious. That's how I'll remember Irene - putting smiles on the faces of those around her.

Irene, thanks for being a friend. May you rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to Jim, Jamie, Sean, and the entire family.

I met Irene in November 2004 at the Ladies Weekend in Marble Falls. We discussed kids and family and life in general. It was my first year to attend the weekends and she made me feel welcome. I know she loved her kids and family and was a very proud mother. I feel blessed for knowing her and will miss her very much. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jim, Jamie and Sean:

Irene was a 'Very Special Lady and Friend'. We spend a lot of time together at work and delivering Meals on Wheels when we were at Chevron. My heart goes out to each of you in your loss. I know that she was so proud of each of you as I listened to her on our trips around town.

May God comfort you and give you peace.
