Born on March 24, 1952 in Robert Lee, TX, and passing on March 23, 2026, he lived a full and meaningful life, just one day shy of his 74th birthday. He passed away in a motorcycle accident, doing what he loved most.
He shared 53 years of marriage with his wife, Diann McKenzie.
He is survived by his wife, Diann; his best furry friend, Billy; his daughters, Jessica Robertson (Bobby) and Jana Saldivar (Fidel); and his grandchildren, Hunter Robertson (Mandy), Madison Saldivar, Karsen Saldivar, and Braedan Saldivar. He is also survived by his sisters, Edna Ringener, Brenda Duke (Dean), Lana Ledbetter, and Bonnie Bryand; his sisters-in-law, Alice Armstrong, Leticia McKenzie and Jo Roberts; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Ruth McKenzie, and his brothers, Herb Armstrong and Dayle McKenzie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fix West Texas or any local dog rescue in his memory.
There will be no service per his wishes.

Our hearts are very saddened to hear of Wade´s passing. With all the evil in the world, Wade was one who counteracted it. Therefore his passing is extra sad. Prayers go forward for you, Diann, girls and all the family. We were neighbors on Kansas Ave for several years. Know that our sweet Lord has you all in the palm of His hand. Be blessed.
