Daniel Costanzo Obituary

Daniel J. Costanzo Sr.

AGE: 79 • Jupiter FL

Daniel J. Costanzo, Sr., 79, of Jupiter, FL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2017. Born on March 12, 1938 in Plainfield, NJ to Dominick and Sue Costanzo, Dan lived most of his life in the Plainfield area before relocating to Jupiter in 1998. He was a gifted athlete, and enjoyed reminiscing about the nine varsity letters he earned as a three-sport competitor at Plainfield High School. Dan joined the United States Army in the late 1950s before starting his family. He spent the majority of his career as the finance manager of Queen City Pontiac in Green Brook, NJ. He loved football, golf, bowling, and going to the "track", always generous with his winnings. Dan is survived by his wife, Valerie, his children Susan Kiernan, Trisha Mruz, Karen Jenkins and Daniel Costanzo, Jr., as well as his step-children Lisa Stafford, Robert Janiszewski and Robin Janiszewski and her daughter Kylie Janiszewski; his grandchildren Laura and Cole Kiernan; Kari, Sara and Hannah Mruz; Daniel, Riley, Mark and Troy Jenkins; Daniel Costanzo III and Angelina Costanzo. He is also survived by his brother Joseph Costanzo, sister Arlene Hochstadter and former wives Rita Zimmer and Linda Costanzo. Services in Florida are pending. Dan's children will receive guests on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 at the McCriskin Home For Funerals in South Plainfield, NJ.
