Joseph Garner Obituary
AGE: 92 • Plainfield
Joseph A "Gooie" Garner Jr., 92, passed February 7, 2013, at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. Born in Plainfield, he was a 40 yr. resident. He was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church. He was a Buffalo Soldier in the US Army. He was employed by Mack Motors for 30 year. Mr. Garner was Past Master of Stone Square Lodge #38 and a life member of Golconda Temple #24 and Douglas Consistory #10.
Mr. Garner leaves to cherish his memory sons Paul Garnere, Anthony and Ricky Garner, daughters Stephanie Garnere, Tonya Stewart and Estelle Jones, 58 grandchildren and a host of loving relatives and friends.
Ritualistic Service Saturday, 11AM Covenant United Methodist Church, 613 E. Front St. Plainfield, funeral following immediately, visitation 10 AM at the church. Condolences: www.JudkinsColonialHome.com. Arrangements: Judkins Colonial Home.
