Dear Jane and family,
Mike was a good friend who I met late in both of our careers. He always had a smile and a kind word for his friends and coworkers. We shared good work experiences in unusual places internationally and shared a few pizzas and beer with friends and coworkers. My mother's framed cross stitch that I mentioned in my first memory of Mike is attached and expresses my feelings for mike.

Dear Jane and Family,

When I think of Mike I can only think of happy times that we shared together over the past 12 years that I had the pleasure of knowing him. I considered him a colleague and golfing buddy, but most of all I considered him a
GOOD FRIEND. My mother had an embroidered and framed saying over our fireplace mantle in our ancestoral home in Las Cruces, New Mexico which I now have hanging in our guest room in Prescott, Arizona. It says,

"GOOD FRIENDS
ARE LIKE DIAMONDS
PRECIOUS AND RARE"

I, along with many other of our colleagues considered Mike a real Diamond, very Precious and Rare.

Our Condolances to the Bufo Family,

Joe and Pat Nevarez

I am very sorry to hear that Mike’s page has turned and he has moved on from this life. I enjoyed working with him, his friendship, his engaging conversation and that great big smile. We loved to catch up when we got the chance to see each other. These past few years he had me always looking out for him at the Manasquan inlet as I drove my boat out. I’m sorry I won’t get to see that big hand wave one more time, but I will always have fond memories of one of the bets Telco guys and family man there was. God bless Mike!

Di and Two Michaels. I miss you, cous!

My sincere condolences for your loss. Mike was a great person who will be missed by all. I had the privilege to travel around Asia with Mike when he replaced me in my international job at AT&T in 1993.
