My sympathy to the Cherello family. My Dad, Irv, taught w/Mike at both Cedar Kolls and Whippany schools. I hold dear the wonderful memories of the card parties the teachers had at our little house in Mt. Freedom - the good food, the friendship they obviously shared. Rest in peace,

With my deepest sympathy on the passing of Mr. Cherello. He was my principal at Cedar Knolls School (class of 1958). He was very personable, and always had time and concern for each student. May be rest in God's peace.

Pop was a fun man to be around, and he shared many stories about his life. I only wish I got to know him more in the time he was alive. Mom Dad and I had a great time with him and Mimi a couple months ago, and we had a blast. I'm glad we got to spend that time together. He will be forever missed and loved

Dear Family of Mr. Cherello,
Mr. Cherello was one of my all time favorite teachers and one of the reasons I, too, became a teacher. He certainly has impacted many lives. The knowledge he imparted and the kindness and joy he brought to so many will live on forever. May he rest in peace in the presence of our God. My prayers and sympathy for your great loss.
