Edward B. Hyle

AGE: 76 • Sayreville

Edward B. Hyle, age 76, of Sayreville, passed away Tuesday, October 18th 2011 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Jersey City, he had resided in Sayreville for the past 57 years. Before his retirement, Mr. Hyle worked as a foreman for 30 years at EI DuPont in Sayreville, where he was a member of their 10 and 25 year clubs. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Sayreville American Legion Post 211. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2061. Edward was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Sayreville where he was a member of their Holy Name Society.

He is predeceased by his parents Edward L. and Catherine, a nephew William Stratton and a niece Laurie Graf. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, the former Bernadette Bielak, his children Edward P. and his wife Inna of East Brunswick, Michael of Kearny, Diane Jarusiewicz and her husband Sonny of Sayreville, his grandchildren Jamie and Holly Jarusiewicz, Christine Belotti, Jennifer, Stephanie and Michael Hyle, 2 great-grandsons, his sister Barbara Governale and her husband Ray of Lakewood and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday 9am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main St, Sayreville with a 9:30am mass to follow at St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Sayreville. Burial will take place at St. Stan's Cemetery in Sayreville. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.maliszewskimemorialhome.com. The following groups will hold services Friday at the funeral home: American Legion Post 211 7:15pm, St Stanislaus Holy Name Society 8pm, Sayreville K of C 2061 8:30pm.
