Steven Lease Obituary
AGE: 65 • Burlington
Steven Lease, 65, of Burlington, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at home. He was born in Newark, NJ, and resided in Hightstown and Jackson Twp., NJ, before moving to Burlington 20 years ago. He was employed by Stop 'N Shop, Monroe, NJ, for more than 40 years. Steven was a volunteer at the Burlington County Animal Shelter in Westampton, NJ. Mr. Lease was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Steven was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Elsie Lease; his daughter Chrissy Lease; and his brother, Harry Lease. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Erica and Michael Sauickie of Sicklerville, NJ; his sister and brother-in-law, Candi and John Slavik of Manahawkin, NJ; and his grandson, Garrett Sauickie.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Visitation on Friday, October 26, 2012, from 1-2 PM at THE GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527 (732-364-6808). A Chapel Service with military honors will follow at 3 PM at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Steven's memory to the Burlington County Animal Shelter, County Facilities Complex, Woodlane Rd., Westampton, NJ 08060, and would be greatly appreciated. Our thoughts and prayers are with Steve's family. We enjoyed the time we got to know you and Steve. When someone leaves our lives it is never easy but may comfort come when thinking he is in a better place.
