Cordelia Belle Glover

Cordelia Belle Glover, of Midland, passed away Friday, March 2, 2007.

She was born June 28, 1924, in Andrews TX, to Dr. William Denman Alldredge and Anna Jewel Barnfield Alldredge. Her husband, Beecher Laphon Glover, preceded her in death in 1974.

She was a member of Wilshire Park Baptist Church, and loved Jesus very much. She was a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and sister. She was cherished by all of her relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and ten brothers: Woody, Leonard, Rolla, Arthur, W. D., Darwin, Lynvoy, Arlin, C. D., and Bob Alldredge. Two sisters: Emily Floyd and Bonnie Alldredge. Two sisters-in-law: Sue Alldredge and Sytha Alldredge. Two brothers-in-law: Walt Timerson and O. C. Floyd.

Cordie is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Janet Lynn and Ed Nicks of Midland TX, Cherie and Tommy Allmand of Pearsall TX, and one son, Buddy Glover, of Laurinburg NC. Six grandchildren: Kelli and husband Karlis Gruzins of Coppell TX, Kerri and husband Dody Payne of Midland TX, Katie Allmand of Lampasas TX, Justin and Luke Allmand of Pearsall TX, Becky and husband Brian Bishop of Chesnee SC. Seven great-grandchildren: Hudson and Harper Gruzins of Coppell TX, Cameron and Carson Payne of Midland TX, Brandi and Dylan Butler of Chesnee SC, and Nicholas Bishop of Chesnee SC. Six brothers: Floyd and wife Bonnie Jean Alldredge, Bill and wife Mary Alldredge, Darrell Alldredge, A. B. and wife, Beth Alldredge, Jimmy and wife Jeanie Alldredge, Wicky and wife Hilda Alldredge. Three sisters: Lucy Timerson, Annie and husband Bob Fox, and Altha Jewel Alldredge. Five sisters-in-law: Nell Alldredge, Faye Alldredge, Donna Alldredge, Frenchie Alldredge, and Florence Alldredge.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2007, at Wilshire Park Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home. To place on-line condolences, visit www.mem.com.
