John Westbrook was my friend at Midland Lee H.S. in the late 60's, well known by many. Terrific sense of humour, and a quick wit, regardless of the situation. Always upbeat. Great fun and a ring leader of mirth on our many Band bus trips to football games, contests, etc. Rolling across West Texas on Fall Friday nights in yellow school buses, singing, flirting with the girls and joking. I smile when I think of John, he was a good friend and author of many happy memories in the Rebel Band. The Lord take him and keep him.

Susan & Stephen, my heart is broken as 50 years of precious memories of John & your family embrace me. He will be missed by many who loved him; however, the Victory Bells will ring again, and Raider Power shines forever in Heaven. With deepest sympathy & much love,
