He told me stories about coming to nyc as a teen and all the great musicians he saw at Appllo. It was such an honor to meet Floyd when he came to Macon, my hometown, many years ago. What a fine gentleman & one blessed with talent! It was with sadness that I learned Floyd had been called home.

Whenever I lose a person I've treasured, I take comfort in this. Because of the promise of eternal life, we will all be reunited again one day in our heavenly home. My thoughts & prayers are with you all, now & during the days to come.
