Ponce P. La Cap

La Cap, Ponce P., 84, of Lady Lake, FL, formerly of Yonkers, NY, passed away on Saturday, January 12th, 2019. Ponce is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Evangeline (nee Polintan); his children Mariliza La Cap-Tong and her husband Darren, Henry and his wife Sonya and Christopher; his grandchildren Brandon Tong, Stephen Tong, Tyler Tong, Jason Tong, Sebastion, Julian Ponce and Lauren Tong; his siblings Imang Villajuan and her husband Peter and Eduardo and his wife Elizabeth as well as his nieces and nephews. Ponce received his Bachelor degree in Accounting from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines. He worked for many years as a tax analyst for ITT and most recently World Communication before retiring with his wife to the Villages in Florida. He was a former president of the Masantolenos Eastern Seaboard USA and Maharjah Club of NJ. The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Westwood, NJ on Saturday, January 19th from 2-7PM with a celebration of Ponce's life and faith at 5PM. Cremation private.
