Not sure what to say?

A group is forming at our church and I am humbled by time and pain and can see the journey is long, for me and others. How can it be 12 years? How did I miss the leaders losses just a few months earlier of a same aged child? I hope wisdom aids me in helping others, in noticing,- in caring, but I know my heart is helped by remembering and even more by the remembering of others. Adam, I remember you and your great love for others; I love your dear sweet friends and family; I love my friends...

It's been so long since I've read these posts, and it brought me such happiness, and tears, tonight when I read them all, as I've been thinking about Adam a lot lately. Its crazy to think how much we've all changed since high school and college, and I can't help but think of where he'd be in life now.. married? kids? so forth... I'm still so sad for the loss of one of my best friends since childhood. I love you, Adam, and I love the Kincaid family. Always have, always will.

It is with a heavy heart that write, nearly three years after Adam died. So many wonderful memories from the 23 years and 8 months of Adam and more stil in the years since his passing with so much support, love, grace, and exploration, for how to move forward. Or, how to move at all. He would be so proud of us for staying the course, coping the best we can, loving the most we can, and finding joy and happiness where we can. We miss him terribly. The pain doesn't go away. We simply...

I am truly sorry for your loss, Adam was a great human being, his ability to charm his fellow classmates at Northwest still amazes. He will be missed.

Dear Kincaid Family,
We lived in GSO from 1997-2000 on O'Brient Pl. Our daughter Erin and Zach were good friends. Erin, Natalie, who is a year younger than Adam, and our son Gardner all swam and played tennis with the Kincaid kids at the Cardinal. We just heard about Adam this weekend and wanted you to know that our thoughts and prayers go out to you. I remember him as being a very kind, handsome, well-rounded young man. Our condolences to you all.

Sincerly,
The Pippins

Dear Kincaid Family,

I went to UNC with Adam, and roomed with Ashley last summer. As a result I became very close friends with Adam. I remember telling Ashley that, after getting to know Adam, he was one of the most generous people I'd ever met, period. He possessed true generosity, because when he gave, he expected absolutely nothing in return. When I realized this, I knew Adam was a friend for life.. I never hesitated to help him because I knew that if I ever needed him he would be...

The Kincaid Family,
I just recently found out of Adam's death. I went to Northwest with Adam and Zach. I was greatly honored to be in chorus with both of them. When Adam sang cold chills would move over me. He had a voice of an angel. I was so amazed I know one day he would be something great. He had a presents about himself that no other had. He know when to be funny and when to be serious. He was friends with everyone, I true honest friend you never questioned his friendship. No one...
