Alma Janette "Jean" Losco

Alma Janette, 'Jean' Losco was born August 24, 1939 to Millie and Epp Wilford. She was the yd of 16 children. She was lovingly called Jean Bug by family & friends. She was 82 years old upon her passing on 4/19/22 in St. Augustine, Florida at St. Augustine Health & Rehab.
She married her sweetheart, Bernard Losco, in 1957 in Folkston, Georgia with her Mother, Father & Jack and Inez Flynn at her side. She was beloved Memaw & Meme to her grandchildren which she loved beyond measure. She spent hours, days and years selflessly expressing and sharing of herself and showering them with hugs & Kisses. Her grandchildren have countless fond memories of their Memaw / Meme building tents, playing checkers & cards, watching movies, and baking sweets. She enjoyed time with family & friends, cooking/entertaining, reading, laughing and never met a stranger.
Her children; Bernie, Jeanette & Jackie (Jenackie) knew they were loved unconditionally by their Momma. They shared countless dinners at the kitchen bar entertained by comical & unfiltered dinner topics that left their father hanging his head in embarrassment.
Jean adored her Momma and Daddy and cherished her childhood with a house full of family & friends. She was the second Mother to many of her siblings and dedicated herself to helping raise and care for them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings: Bobby, Francis and Arlene, and by her first born Bernie Losco.
She has left behind so many loved ones, including her 12 siblings: Barbara, Ruth, Gerdie, Millie, Linda, Henry, Lock, Bill, Libby, BoBo, Anna, Patty. She is survived by her loving husband, Bernard Bernell Losco, her daughter Jeanette Ramsey and her husband Richard Ramsey, her daughter Jackie Losco, her daughter in law, Debbie Losco. Her Grandchildren; Jason Losco, Matt Ramsey, Kyle Ramsey, Chandler Nunez (Eileen), and Sophia Nunez. Her Great Grandchild, Gabriel Ramsey.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at St. Augustine Health & Rehab for providing our Mother with love and exceptional care, especially: Mary, Sophia, Tammy, and Audrey. Also we would like to thank her previous caregivers: Sandra, Mary Kate, Tina & many many more deserving healthcare workers.
