Arthur William Steiner passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Born to Arthur R. and Pearl M. Steiner (nee Oehlke) on May 4, 1944, Arthur was raised in Appleton, WI, with his sister, Mary A. Kromarek (nee Steiner), in a home their father built.
After graduating from Appleton Senior High School in 1963, Arthur studied business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. The original "Fun Uncle", Arthur was well loved by his nieces and nephew; Kassia Fultz, Andrew Kromarek, and Carey (Joel) Courtney; grand nephew and four grand nieces: Jacob, Emily, and Anna Fultz, and Juliana and Isabella Courtney; as well as five devoted dogs: Shakespeare, Slugger, Brooksleigh Randall, Barkley, and Sunny.
Arthur was a skilled carpenter with a creative sense of detail and design. An expert in the kitchen, Arthur’s delicious holiday meals, decadent chocolate chip cookies, and ever flowing Coca-Cola will never be forgotten. A life-long member and dedicated deacon of Memorial Presbyterian Church, Arthur created inspiring alter arrangements and beautiful decorations at countless celebrations. His charming humor and thoughtful kindness was loved by many.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents and sister, and is fondly remembered by a host of friends and family members.
