He was also an avid athlete who boxed and played football and rugby at the University of Wisconsin in his earlier years, rode horses and cycled in his middle years, and boxed and even played on a baseball team well into his 70s. He passed on his love for sport by coaching both youth hockey and boxing. In his final years, he enjoyed the beauty and serenity of the mountainous landscape of the high desert where he lived in Taos, NM.
Marc will be remembered for his dedication and love for his family, his leadership, his storytelling, his sense of humor, his eclectic interests, his strength and determination, and his insightful wisdom.
