Barry Fischler Obituary
Sharon, devoted father of Lisa and Nicole, proud grandfather of Jesse, brother of Carole,
and doting uncle to many more. He was also a friend and mentor to many, both personally
and professionally, and loved working and connecting with people of all ages. Recently
retired after a career in the financial sector, Barry brought a humorous and intellectual
touch to everything he did, and will be remembered for his gregarious and optimistic
personality. Barry knew how to connect with people, whether in his official capacity as
Past President and Family Service Leader at the Fort Lee Jewish Community Center, or
simply standing on line or riding the ski lift. He enjoyed music and danced up a sweat at
every happy occasion. We will love him always and forever.

We are so sorry for your loss, Sharon, Nicole, Lisa, Jesse and all Barry's family.I met Barry the same day I met my husband of almost 53 years.I/we have many wonderful memories of those early days with Barry....at Ashbrook Swim Club, Villa Roma Pizza, Walt's,the St George Diner, etc, etc. And,the later days...meeting Sharon, attending Linden High School's 50th reunion, and meeting Barry's other two loves at Lisa's wedding. I love the Joey Beighley poem, "Remember Me" It says what I would like for myself when the time comes!
