S. Beverly Erie, was born February 26 1937 at the family farmstead in Gonvick, MN. She was the eighth of nine Erie children. She attended school in her hometown of Gonvick, where she was a cheerleader for the Gonvick Bulldogs. She spent her early years working the farm with her family during the week and spent weekends at the Pine Lake pavilion, where they enjoyed roller skating at the roller rink, family picnics, ice skating and dances.
After Marriage she moved to Waterloo IA in 1959 where she raised her family. She enjoyed watching baseball, listening to country music and attending various school activities for her two daughters. Beverly eventually moved to Crosslake MN in 1991, where she enjoyed lake life, crafting, traveling, and hosting her Grandchildren. She became a member of Crosslake Lutheran Church and was a member for 34 years.
Beverly is survived by her two children, Lynn Brummer, Kim (David) Wilson; Grandchildren Ryan (Tracy) Wilson, Micheal (Tracy) Brummer, Jennifer (Wade) Barry, Abby (Andy) Kasel, Matthew Brummer and Christopher Brummer; Great Grandchildren Colton, Khloe, Luci, Shuan, Bailey, Liam, Jordan, Jody, Jesse, Angel, Isabella, Tanner, Kaylen, Nolan, Jacob. Sister Janet (Glenn) Osmonson.
Preceded in death by Parents Oscar and Anna Erie, Siblings Doris (Floyd) Sather, Carol (Henry) Tollefson, Orvin Erie, Florence (Forrest) Hanson, Harvey (Marilyn) Erie, Donna (Ralph) Schwab, Margaret (Clyde) Hare. Roger Horton and Duane Ambuehl, Son in Law Mark Brummer.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday November 6, 2025 at 11:00am at Crosslake Lutheran Church, Crosslake, MN. There will be a visitation held one hour prior to the start of the service. Private Family Burial will be at the Gonvick Samhold Lutheran Cemetery on Friday Nov. 7th.
