Carla Michelle Green Adams

 

Carla Michelle Green Adams left this world to be with our Lord on July 7, 2023 at age 59. She was a caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Carla was born to Carl and Jeanne Green on June 9, 1964. After graduating from Lutheran High School in Denver, Carla attended Colorado State University where she majored in Interior Design. She met her husband, Lance Adams, while working together at Lowry Air Force Base. Her sharp wit, attention to detail, and love for the written word led her to a career in editing, which she followed through retirement in 2021.

Carla loved spending time with her dogs, reading a good book, and playing with her grandkids.  Carla is survived by her mother, Jeanne Green; her husband of 32 years, Lance Adams; her sons Nathan (Angela) Adams of Littleton, CO and Justin (Samantha) Adams of Loveland, CO; and her 2 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 11 a.m. on July 21st, 2023 in the chapel at Horan and McConaty Funeral Home, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO 80014. A reception for friends and family will follow. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital on her behalf.
