Carol Lynn Michael, born on August 15, 1965, in Coldwater, MI, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, in Marshall, MI. She is remembered as a sweet, kind, and adventurous soul who touched the lives of many throughout her journey. For most of her life, Carol dedicated herself to her role as a home health aide, where her compassionate nature shone brightly. Her devotion to helping others mirrored the warmth and kindness she exemplified in her personal life. Carol had a unique ability to bring people together and enjoyed staying busy, often surrounded by her beloved family.
A woman of faith, Carol was Apostolic and held her religious beliefs close to her heart. She found joy in the great outdoors, particularly in fishing, boating, and hunting. In addition to her love for nature, she delighted in solving puzzles, engaging in games, and expressing her creativity through crafts. These hobbies provided her with happiness and fulfillment, further reflecting her adventurous spirit.
Carol leaves behind three sons, Dustin (Kelly) Sebring, Derick Sebring, and Daniel Sebring, who carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. She was a cherished grandmother to six grandchildren: Dylan, Madelynn, Christopher, Ellie, Conner, and Lakyn, who were a source of immense pride and joy for her. Carol is also survived by her siblings, Roger Michael, Bruce (Cassandra) Michael, Dawn (Jeff) McClellan, and Crystal (Chris) Peavey, as well as her half-siblings, Susan (Larry) Wagaman, Dewayne (Meg) Michael, Arnold (Kim) Michael, and Kevin (Stella) Michael; stepfather, Duane "Mike" Norton. As well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, and extended family members that will also remember her fondly.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Carrol Michael and Edith (Wymer) Norton, along with her nephew, Wesley, and great niece, Riley. Her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her gentle spirit and unwavering love for her family will forever remain a guiding light in their hearts.
