Not sure what to say?

A small crowd of girls are entertained by Cecil and his banjo.

Cecil was a wonderful, unique man who just made everyone he met smile. I still get tears in my eyes seeing the picture of him with the banjo I gave to him and remembering the joy it gave him. Broadway wasn't the same without you. Rest well in the arms of God my friend!

My grandfather was the most awesome psrson i knew and he was so kind always thought others before even thinking twice about himself i loved hom so much and nothing anyone would ever say will change that i will alwaus love you cecil myrie.

Aiyanna Myrie

Its been months now since you been gone and the pain hasn't eased up a bit. To some you were an inspiration, a friend and a leader... to me, you were my father and my hero. You taught me many things, like how to be a man. Also, how important family is. Having to watch you suffer without being able to help was the worse possible thing for me. I asked god many times why this kind of thing could happen to such a good person. I would of sacrificed myself and traded places with you just to see you...

Things just won't be the same.

To the Myrie Family so sorry for your loss Cecil was a fantastic individual that loved life itself he was a very decent person that always gave people the benefit of the doubt, thoughts and prayers go out to you sincerely Mike and JoAnn Adams

Hello Myrie Family, sorry for your loss. I used to see Cecil with Motherless many, many weekends from about 1988 to 1991. He was always so friendly and positive. I miss him.

RIP Cecil missed but never for gotten

Dear Myrie family, I am so sorry for your loss, our loss too. I always enjoyed sitting with Cecil whenever I was in Saratoga. I too am a musician and Cecil would always ask where I was playing and if he had the chance he would come to hear a few songs. Whenever I went to Hatties I would get an extra dinner for him because he never left his bench. RIP Cecil, Toga will never be the same.
