Carol - Please accept our sincere sympathy for your loss. I bet Charlie and my beloved Daddy (Al Schmit) are joking it up in heaven. You both were so well regarded by him. Rest in peace, Charlie, and Carol, you are in my prayers.

I only met you a couple times a couple years ago. I just want your family to know that I hope God spreads His arms over the whole family and supports them. Love Melissa and the great grandson you never met Caleb

Maw Maw Carol, we know you are sad, for you have lost your best friend. We also know you will continue to take comfort in knowing he is with the Lord, free of illness and pain.
He loved you dearly and was truly blessed to have you as his wife, best friend and yes, card playing buddy!
We will miss him, especially Monique. He has left a mark on her for life, she truly loved and enjoyed him.
Remember, the games must go on! We love you very much - Hold you head up and know that he continues to be with you.

My grandfather was the most wonderful man anyone would ever know. He was one of those people you could talk to about anything. I miss my paw paw Charlie but I know he is in a better place watching us all from heaven.

Charlie touched so many people. I'm glad that I was one of them. Always a kidder, he's now in heaven making others smile and laugh. Love you Charlie.

I have fond memories of Charlie from our Hope Haven days in the late 1930's. Harold Rogers was in my class in the seventh grade and Sidney was just behind me.
My condolences to the family.
