Denise Wagner Obituary
GREER, S.C. -- Denise Kay Wagner, 57, beloved wife of Gary Wagner Sr., passed away on Wednesday November 15th, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Earl Vance and Ruth Rush.
Mrs. Wagner a retired registered nurse displayed her talents in the Akron, Ohio and Greenville, South Carolina area hospitals. She earned her nursing degree at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.
Survivors include her husband, Gary; two sons, Gary Wagner Jr. and wife Jessica of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, and Jonathan Wagner and wife Elizabeth of Easley, South Carolina. She had three sisters, Carla Radar and husband Kyle of Hammond, Indiana, Pamela Crossen and husband David of Trinity, North Carolina, and Sheryl Hill of Rising Sun, Maryland. She had many beloved nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wagner also leaves three grandchildren, Gary Wagner III, Jack Wagner, and Madelyn Wagner to leave in her memory. She was predeceased by her father and mother.
A grave side service will be held on Monday, November 20th, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.

Dear Wagner Family,
I remember fun times with Denise at Jennings Jr. High School in Akron, Ohio. One day she and I volunteered to straighten up the desks in Mr. Cook's Science Class ~ she picked up a squirt bottle, opened the ground floor window and we were seeing how far we could squirt the water. Well, the top of the bottle flew out the window. Denise climbed out the window to get the top and crawled back in. We laughed so hard!! She was lots of fun and will be missed by many. On behalf of my family, I am deeply sorry to hear about the loss of Denise. This was so surprising when my brother Frank told me. It's so difficult to lose a loved one during the holidays.
