Doris Turner Obituary
She received her RN from the Moline Public Hospital Nursing School in Moline, Illinois. Doris was commissioned as an ensign in the Navy Nurse Corps and served at the United States Naval Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She also was a faithful member of the Church of the Cross United Methodist in Kettering, Ohio.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Dennis Turner; siblings, Eunice Blackwell, Nancy Bellomo, Katherine Pierantoni, Lucille Tudor and Edwin Klump Jr.
She is survived by her children, Dennis (Patty) Turner, Diane (Grattan) Beaver, John (Peggy) Turner and Don (Maryalice) Turner; grandchildren, Amy (Matt) Sheeley, Amanda and Matthew Beaver, Cali and Joseph Turner, Joshua Turner and Jessica (Justin) Skoff.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21, at the Miami Valley Memorial Garden, with Rev. John Whitaker officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of the Cross United Methodist in Kettering Ohio. Arrangements were completed by the Tobias Funeral Home-Far Hills Chapel.

Although I haven't seen her in a while, I loved her dearly and will miss her. She was always so kind. I know my dad always enjoyed her visits to Warsaw. Dennis, Diane, John and Don we love you guys. Sending hugs and prayers. I'm glad she is at peace.
